Brookgreen Gardens

Murrells Inlet, S.C. -- home of the largest and most comprehensive collection of American figurative sculpture in the country -- will feature a selection of these works in the Cantey Building. The focal point of the Brookgreen exhibit, Prize-Winning Sculpture - Award-Winning Gardens, is "Pledge of Allegiance" by Glenna Goodacre. This sculpture will be flanked by several other works of art and artistic garden designs.

"PRIZE WINNING SCULPTURE -- AWARD WINNING MEMORIES"

This year’s flower display in the Cantey Building will include a combination of floriculture, cut horticulture, potted plants, Garden Club Council of Greater Columbia, and Ikebana designs (the art of Japanese floral arrangements). The flowers will be staged among a wide range of artworks throughout the building, and various shows will be presented throughout the duration of the fair.
