Seasonal Job Openings for the 2026 South Carolina State Fair
The following seasonal positions are currently available for the 2026 South Carolina State Fair.

- Building Attendant — $7.50 per hour
- Overnight Building Attendant (hours 8 pm to 8 am) — $9.00 per hour
- CIRCUS Usher — $7.50 per hour
- Guest Services Staff Member — $7.50 per hour
- Personal bilingüe de Servicios al Huésped — $9.50 per hour
- Home & Craft Department Staff Member — $7.50 per hour
- Guest Entrance Attendant — $9 per hour
- Ticket Seller — $9 per hour
- RV, Vendor & Exhibitor Vehicle Gate Attendant — $8.40 per hour
- Fine Art Department Staff Member — $7.50 per hour
- Student Art Department Staff Member — $7.50 per hour
The Student and Fine Art positions work before and after the fair only and do not work during the fair.

- The South Carolina State Fair does not hire carnival staff. These positions are hired through North American Midway Entertainment in October. Check back here for exact dates and times.
- Food vendors are independent small businesses and they hire their own staff.
The South Carolina State Fair, a self-supporting 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was organized in 1869 and is dedicated to preserving and promoting South Carolina’s agricultural roots while supporting statewide education. In addition to the 11-day South Carolina State Fair, the charitable organization manages annual football parking and is a popular event venue. The South Carolina State Fair has awarded nearly $6.5 million in scholarships since 1997.
