Pay-One-Price (POP) Ride Days
The S.C. State Fair will feature Pay-One-Price ride days every day of the fair. Enjoy unlimited rides by exchanging a ride voucher for a POP wristband at specially marked tents inside the fairgrounds. All rides are eligible for POP, helping guests make the most of their midway experience.
Seniors (55 & Older)
Seniors (ages 55+) enjoy $15 admission every day at the fairgrounds — except on Senior Day, Wednesday, Oct. 21, when admission is just $5 at the gate.
Lunch Bunch
Join the Lunch Bunch! Pop in and out of the S.C. State Fair for lunch with a special Lunch Bunch ticket, available from noon to 2 p.m. each weekday (except Thursday, Oct. 15). Pay your entry fee and receive a refundable $20 ticket. Return to the ticket booth with the ticket by 2 p.m. to get your money back.
American Tribute
Join us every day at noon when the American flag will be raised on the main flagpole outside the Cantey Building near the South Gate and the national anthem will be played across the public address system. Occasionally, a special guest will sing or raise the flag. Guests are invited to pause in a moment of unity and reverence — bringing the fair community together with this heartfelt tribute.
Color Your Way to a Cookie
Get ready to show how you are Rooted in Fun with a sweet reward! Download a fun coloring page from our website at scstatefair.org/colorme featuring this year’s theme. Color your creation, then bring it to the Pro Kitchen Cookie Kitchen (located in the Goodman Building) during the fair. Trade your masterpiece for a FREE delicious cookie!
Fair Food for $5
Enjoy some of your favorite fair foods without stretching your budget. Participating vendors will offer a variety of menu items for just $5 throughout the fair. Learn more and view the full $5 menu at scstatefair.org/food.
Special Day Promotions
Opening Day! – $5 admission at the gate only. Gates open at noon. Rides start at 1 p.m.
South Carolina Farm Bureau Day – Free admission for two with a valid S.C. Farm Bureau membership card.
Future Farmers of America (FFA) Day – Free admission for all FFA students with FFA membership cards.
Lunch Bunch – Noon to 2 p.m.
South Carolina Election Commission Day
4-H Day – Free admission for all those with an official 4-H membership card.
Biscuitville Day at the Fair – Don’t miss the Biscuitville eating contest on Academic Ave stage
Scholars Day – The S.C. State Fair will welcome all past Ride of Your Life Scholarship recipients back to the fair for its first Scholars Day, a special day rooted in fun, connection and making memories.
Past scholarship recipients are eligible to receive two free admission passes by contacting Betsy Cooper at 803-799-3387 or BetsyC@scstatefair.org no later than Wednesday, Oct. 14. A group photo is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the bleachers located in Pepsi Plaza.
Walk for Life Day – Free admission with the official 2026 Walk for Life and Famously Hot Pink Walk/Race T-shirt.
Countdown to Coverage – Brought to you by Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina
Lunch Bunch – Noon to 2 p.m.
College Day – $5 admission (at the gate only) for college students with a current valid college identification.
Joe Pinner Day – Celebrate the life and legacy of Joe Pinner, a beloved WIS-TV personality, community champion and special friend of the S.C. State Fair. Visit the WIS tent near the Rocket to share a favorite memory and help keep his fair-day spirit rooted in the community he loved.
Military Appreciation Day – Active and retired military and their dependents with proper military identification cards will be admitted free. Dependent children 14 years old and older must present ID.
Lunch Bunch – Noon to 2 p.m.
Physics Day – All students wearing the official Physics-Day wristband will be admitted free from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Academic Avenue Stage). Physics Day information is here.
PLEAF Day at the Fair – Palmetto Leadership for the Environment
Military Appreciation Day – Active and retired military and their dependents with proper military identification cards will be admitted free. Dependent children 14 years old and older must present ID.
Lunch Bunch – Noon to 2 p.m.
Seniors Day – $5 admission (at the gate only). Free Ferris wheel rides for those 55+. Seniors may also enjoy the Double Decker Merry-Go-Round at no cost.
Harvest Hope Day at the Fair
Lunch Bunch – Noon to 2 p.m.
Sensory-Friendly Morning – From 10 a.m. to noon, children and adults with autism or sensory processing disorders and one companion are welcome to enter the fairgrounds, as our guest, up to one hour before the gates officially open and participate in Sensory-Friendly Morning. Exceptional Citizens Day – Free admission for persons with lifelong, developmental or physical disabilities and one companion.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation services will be available. They can be found in Guest Services.
