The South Carolina State Fair plants the seeds of opportunity each year through over $500,000 in scholarships. And now we’re inviting YOU to plant seeds too! Whether you’re growing as a class, a club, or just for fun at home, we want to see your very first sprout and celebrate the joy of growth, learning, and community.

How to Enter
Step 1: Plant your seeds — any kind!
Step 2: Snap a photo of your first sprout(s)
Step 3: Submit your entry for a chance to win!
Enter in One of Two Ways:

2. By Email
Send your entry to marketing@scstatefair.org and include:
- Full name of entrant (and group name, if applicable)
- Your city or town
- A photo of your first sprout
- Whether you give permission for us to use your photo in promotions (optional)
- Tell us you shared your photo on Facebook or Instagram using #GrowWithSCSF, to receive a bonus entry!
3. What You Might Win!
- One (1) Harvest Bundle, including 4 admission passes and two ride vouchers to the 2025 South Carolina State Fair (one Harvest Bundle total).
- Plus: One (1) copy of book called Meet Me at the Rocket by Roger Stroup for each listed participant (up to 30 books total).

Harvesting Happiness Seed Packets
You’re welcome to plant your own seeds or stop by the South Carolina State Fairgrounds to pick up as many as five seed packets per group (while supplies last). Email marketing@scstatefair.org for pickup instructions.
