This is the 27th year of one of our fair's most popular contests! Everyone has a favorite grandparent, so it's no wonder the contest averages 18,000 entires each year!
And it's easy as 1-2-3 to enter the contest...
- Submit an essay (see entry form link below) about your favorite grandparent by Friday, September 13 to SC State Fair, P. O. Box 393, Columbia SC 29202.
- Make a date with your grandparent(s) to attend the fair on Sunday, October 20.
- Show up at the Fair on Sunday, October 20. Special entertainment begins at 1:30 pm in the PEPSI Grandstand. Winners will be announced at 2:00 pm by Master of Ceremonies, Joe Pinner.
