This class will be shown immediately following the Grand Champion On Foot Class in the Production-Tested Barrow Show.
2.
Barrows entered in this class will not be weighed on the farm or tagged. Producers may select the Best Barrow on the Farm at fair time to enter in this class. Barrows will be weighed and tattooed at the fair for sale purposes and will be sold to the company buying the tested barrows.

Entries will be weighed beginning at 8:30 AM Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Barrows must be in the barn by 11:00 AM.

Weight Range: Suggested weight range for pigs July 1-10, 2008 is 50 to 70 pounds. Minimum entry weight for barrows at the fair is 220 pounds with maximum weight of 280 pounds.
5.
The entry fee of $1.00 per pig will be subtracted from the sale price and sent to the South Carolina State Fair by the S.C. Pork Producers Association.
6.
Only barrows may be entered in this class and they will not be judged against or compared to tested barrow classes in any way by the judge. Exhibitors (junior or adult) may enter one (1) barrow in this class.
7.
The S.C. Pork Producers Association will collect the money from the company that buys the barrow and mail each exhibitor their check after the Fair.
