CAKES, DECORATED - AMATEUR

BAKED GOODS RULES AND REGULATIONS
(Please Note: The Special Baking Contests are a separate division from baked goods.

Refer to Home & Craft Department Index page for link to Special Baking Contests.)

1.
The Home and Craft Department General Rules and Regulations shall apply.
2.
If food becomes unsuitable for exhibition, the Management reserves the right to remove it from the exhibit.
3.
Decorated cakes must not be over 32" in height, 32" in width and 22" in depth.
4.
Decorated cakes may be constructed using either forms or cake.
5.
Decorated cakes may be placed on trays or either suitable device.
6.
Cakes in Section 0305 - Cakes must be placed on 10" cardboard "squares" only.
7.
All pie crusts must be 8" to 9" standard size and must be made from scratch.
8. All Baked Goods and Special Baking Contest entries must be prepared and intended for human consumption.

Lakeside Mills will match the premiums up to $20.00 offered in all baking classes by The South Carolina State Fair if the winners have used ADLUH® Flour. Winning Exhibitors must provide proof of purchase. Refer to Rules and Regulations on Home & Craft Department Index page.
