OPEN BEEF CATTLE HERDSMAN AWARD
This award is presented by The South Carolina State Fair
A Committee appointed by the Cattle Superintendent will make inspections during the week to determine who, in their judgement, makes the best record for the period of the show taking into account the following points:
1. Neatness and attractiveness of exhibit, bedding, signs, tack area, etc.
30 points
2. Appearance of cattle at all times.
30 points
3. Cleanliness of aisles in front of and behind cattle at all times
20 points
4. Exhibitors' behavior towards the public, fellow exhibitors and fair management. Exhibitors' and the employees' appearance, conduct, etc.
